Be not nervous...: As president franklin d. Roosevelt once said, "... The only thing we have to fear is fear itself ... ". Medicine is full of uncertainties, so one must find a doctor to trust. Constipation treatment, however, is pretty standard. The doctor can recommend over-the-counter drugs (miralax, mag citrate, etc...) or new prescription treatments (amitiza, linzess, etc...) that do work when used properly.
