Unknown: I have seen no studies on this issue. Retrospective studies of smokers show that the magic lifetime number of cigarettes that will result in a high likelihood of continued tobacco addiction is only seven cigarettes. That would appear to argue against any kind of "natural immunity." there certainly are personality traits that are associated with a lower rate of all forms of addiction.

Not sure I would: Go that far, but there is a genetic component to addiction. If you do not have that genetic component, you may be less likley to develop nicotine addiction. But why test the theory. Just don't start.
