This simple tip : Works well. Breath in slowly ; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to.

Anxious about..?: I wonder what ur actually anxious about - being in the MRI machine? What u fear MRI will show? If u fear having the scan-like if u're claustrophobic-let ur doc know. S/he may prescribe something 2 help u relax. As far as the results... Most ppl get anxious waiting. Various things can help. In this case u might try thinking about what u would say 2 ur young child if s/he were waiting 4 this mri.
