A member asked:

My obgyn is referring me to an obgyn who specializes in high risk pregnancies, what's the difference in degree of an obgyn and a high risk one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

U probably mean: A perinatologist that is a doc who had OB residency then extra training to be subspecilaized in doing high risk pregnancies, most perinatologists will not do the delivery though, they usually work with your OB and your OB will do the delivery there are a few who will do the delivery.
