SOB: Obtain chest x ray or ct chest to rule out asbestosis related chest pain. You have to rule out cardiac causes also. You might need a stress test. Consult your physician.

Doubt the connection: I'd highly doubt that a 30-minute exposure would cause your sob in 4 months' time. Do you have sob when you breathe in or out? An anxiety reaction from the exposure may also induce the same symptoms.
