Hard to say: It is hard to say and i would encourage you to be seen. There can certainly be some degree of swelling that follows an ankle sprain and it usually peaks at about 3-5 days after. And so this may be part of that, but it is difficult to say more without actually looking at your foot. Consider being seen.
