A member asked:

If lamotrigine decreases slow-wave sleep duration, where plms cause the most disruption, should it be contraindicated in patients with plmd?

No: Lamictal isn't contraindicated in patients with plmd. The use of other meds can worsen plmd however. Consider evaluation for the cause of plmd such as low ferritin levels.
