Towards the middle: Typically when torsion takes place , the surface of the testis has rotated towards the middle of the body non surgical treatment can be done by manually rotating the tests in the opposite direction ie outward toward the thigh.If not successful surgery needs to be done within six hours of it taking place with a high chance of preserving the testis 90%at 12 hours it decreases to 50%, and at 24hrs 10%.
