A member asked:

Should i use one a day woman prenatal pills to try to conceive ? and is it 100% accurate ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sure: Over-the-counter prenatal vitamins contain only 800 µg of folic acid, but prescription prenatal vitamins contain 1000 µg. If you prefer the over-the-counter prenatal then add at least 400 µg of extra folic acid. Make sure it also has dha which is a fish oil supplement to help neurologic development.
