Sudden onset?: If it just started, it's likely an allergic rxn - the symptoms suggest a cholinergic or histamine release type reaction. Since anti-cholinergic effects cause rapid heart rate, the underlying mechanism is not the cause of your rapid hr - instead, it's likely that your heart is responding to your current state of stress.
