Depends-Need More: It would depend on associated factors. If you are very active, it could be a muscle strain. If there are lumps/bumps in the area, it could be lymph nodes associated with infection. Pain could be referred from reproductive organs, back, or hip. Timing of the pain could indicate a possible cause. There is just not enough information.
