CXR: You need a chest x-ray! i'm not aware of an acute asbestosis syndrome, but you could have something else going on or, perhaps, your mind is understandably playing tricks on you - either way, a chest x-ray will both literally and figuratively "clear the air." good luck.

I went to the ER four days after having a upper endoscopy. I had shortness of breath. Chest X-ray came back normal except mildy well inflated lungs. My pcp doctor said the test was normal. Will the lungs get back to normal? Im also a non smoker?
