Asthma: In general, x-rays and ct scans or not needed for diagnosis. Asthma is typically diagnosed based on the patients history, symptoms, and physical exam.

Clinical Dx: The diagnosis of asthma is very challenging. There is no set test or tests that make this diagnosis. In general, the history, physical exam and supporting labs/testing/spirometry/cxr/allergy tests are all potentially utlized to make the clinical DX of asthma.
