Light brown d/c: Light brown vaginal discharge can happen when old (deoxygenated) blood comes out. It can also happen with some kinds of infection. If you also have burning, irritation, or bad-smelling discharge, please see your physician. Your doctor can also help you with the intense emotionality some women experience with pms -- but that generally falls in the week or so before (not after) a menstrual period.
