Hematoma: It will depend on how big the hematoma is, to start with.

You wait longer: If a kid develops a scalp hematoma it represents a pocket of blood in between the skull and deep skin layers that have no blood supply.Blood will eventually break down to its basic chemical fluid and protein makeup and be passively absorbed gradually through the deep skin layers.Transient calcium deposits can form at the site but eventually resolve.
