Period and Xarelto: Xarelto makes the blood "thinner" but it does not prevent blood clots completely. Otherwise, you would be bleeding all over the place. We still need to maintain a baseline clot ting capacity. The trick is to find a balance to make it less likely to clot while still able to. Clots during your period are not unreasonable or unexpected.

Great question! No!: The blood clots you are having come from your uterus, and are a mixture of blood and tissue from your uterine lining. So they aren't just blood clots. Xarelto is preventing true blood clots elsewhere! Best of luck to you. It's hard having chemo as a young mother... you have grit!
