LIkely : The purple/red is from the trauma from the injection, it will likely go away in a couple of weeks if not sooner.

Normal Healing: It sounds like you have had a normal scar revision and it is healing. The surrounding scar has some inflammation reaction that will improve with more healing time. If it does not improve each day you should see you surgeon.
