Could be serious: Possibilities are several. Poorly controlled diabetes, that is her sugar levels are high. It could be a bad bladder infection which needs to be treated soon. It can also be progressive overactive bladder at her age. In all situations she needs to see a doctor soon.

Perhaps: Uncontrolled diabetes may cause urinary frequency as well as a bladder infection or overactive bladder. All are treatable and deserves a visit to the doctor.

Good morning doctors. What may cause very frequent urination sometimes during the day, but especially at night. I am 61. I am not diabetic. No urinary pain. Just frequency..very often multiple times during the night. I will see be seeing a urologist?
Doc said there was a bit of sugar in my pee. Pee test came back - for diabetes but that may be cuz I had eaten. If not diabetes,what else can it be?
