don't understand why i have confidence issues.always been a high achiever. well respected and loved. how do i cope w/ so much shyness, indecisiveness ?

Untreated SAD: Shyness is the primary symptom of social anxiety disorder. While you have depression, i wonder if the social anxiety portion got missed. Go online and google liebowitz social anxiety disorder questionnaire, print it out , fill it out and take it in to your doctor.See a psychologist for cbt and a psychiatrist for the anxiety and depression. Sad starts about age 13 and effects 13% of people.
