What's is the panic attack symptom of flashing vision. what does it mean ? what is it like?

Never seen this : I have never seen a true panic disorder patient complained of this in practice in 30 years. I have read the references to this on various websites. The more educated websites do recommend that the person being evaluated for ocular migraine. And for retinal tears. Migraine aura is another possibility. This type of experience is not listed in any of the standard reference criteria for panic attacks by the agencies that determine definitions of conditions such as panic disorder.I have never read it in any of the work by dr. David sheehan that this can occur in panic also.He is the one that initially defined panic disorder. He remains active in the field way in to "so-called"retirement.
