Nose bleeding: Hello, nose bleeding or epistaxis is a very common condition. The bleeding is best controlled by holding and pinching your nose as close to the cheek with your nose pointing up. The pressure and elevation will decrease the blood flow. Hold this position for at least 5 minutes. After the bleeding stops, the blood clots that remain in the nose will drop back into the throat which is what you saw.
