If you have hypertension, but then your blood pressure drops under general anaesthetic, does this mean you don't have hypertension?

No: You still have hypertension. Dropping your blood pressure under anesthesia is because of anesthesia, not because your hypertension is cured. Please continue your medicines as prescribed by your doctor.

Hypertension: No, because anesthetics can lower your blood pressure whether or not you have true hypertension.

No: General anesthetics normally cause a decrease in blood pressure when they are administered. They don't cure hypertension and can cause blood pressures to drop in normally hypertensive people.
