A member asked:

Skull fracture and concussion 2 wk ago - can i still go on the cruise next week or will i be prone to seasickness?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not advisable: I usually advise patients to avoid distant travel in the immediate period following any brain injury unless they are confident in the care they would be able to receive if there is an emergency. A cruise ship is not a good place to receive expert neurological care if there is a brain injury. Seasickness is not the primary concern here.
