A member asked:

Which kind of nerve impingement arising from the shoulder refers pain to the medial epicondyle if the humerus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ulnar nerve: Typically, if you have pain along the medial epicondyle, that is where the ulnar nerve travels. If you have impingement upon this nerve there are usually other symptoms including numbness and tingling in the 4th and 5th fingers. In the extreme situations there may be weakness of these fingers. There is often pain when tapping over the nerve at the medial epicodyle.
