Adenomyosis: You have an increase risk of the endometrial lining embedding in to the muscle of the uterus. This is called adenomyosis. It is associated with an enlarged uterus, painful periods with clots. As well as painful intercourse. Talk to your doctor for options. Those include birth control pills, non steroidals, lysteda, possibly uterine ablation, and/or hysterectomy.
