How hard is it to get stable blood pressure control with just one medicine?

Can be done: It is possible with isolated high blood pressure to control it with one medication but it has to be the right drug and at the correct dose. Most of the time other medications are given because the first drug is not fully utilized, or other medical conditions are better treated with adding the other drugs as well.
