Go to see doctor: There are many things that can explain painless blood in the stool, from the most benign one - i.e. Hemorrhoidal bleeding to the more serious conditions such as diverticular bleeding, colorectal cancers etc.. You should go to see your doctor for further evaluation. If you never have a colonoscopy, you should have a colonoscopy now. If that stops, you still need to see your md for further work-up.

Question for doctor!: Rectal bleeding is never normal, and should always be evaluated. See a colorectal surgeon, who can perform a specialty exam and diagnose your concern. While it may be something as simple as hemorrhoids, you can't know until the doctor looks!
