Could be.: Depending on location and size, a fibroid might be causing this, but there are plenty of other things that could do this as well. You would do well to see your doc or a urologist to get a better answer.

Yes: Escpecially if the fibroids is pushing on your bladder. Get an ultrasound to determine the location of the fibroid.
