A member asked:

What foods are i allowed to eat that are not acid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most foods are fine: There are few foods which you might call 'acidic'. This may include oranges and other tart foods. Most of the acidity in our stomach is produced from the normal acid secretions of the stomach which can bother some folks especially if they have acid reflux problems. This can be easily controlled with antacids like zantac (ranitidine) or pepcid. Prilosec is even more effective.
