I was googling naproxen and one site said not to lay down for 10 minutes after taking it. why is that?

Gravity/reflux: The only reason for this is to use gravity to make sure the pill gets to your stomach and to prevent reflux from allowing medicine or stomach acid to come back up. This is much more important with other medications such as osteoporosis pills.

A waste of time: There is no reason to do this. There is really no risk in the first 10 minutes after taking naproxen.
