Probably Not: The pip joint is very unforgiving. Any injury / swelling to the area takes a long time to recover. The stretching without really seeing the finger sounds like swelling that may have resolved and more than likely the skin will regain some of it's elasticity and return, but not all of it. Time will tell.

DOUBT permanence: The creases on top of the finger can go "missing" for a time if the joint is swollen and stiff. The skin there is very flexible and if the jointis bent a little or the joint is full the creases look different. The creases dont really strethc they just look different until time passes if and when / after the mechanics normalize.
