Caffein=gastritis : Caf. Is a stomach irritant like asa is. Gastritis ; asa , nsaids r all causes of ulcers or gastritis ; can cause a similar reaction. It/they also can trigger the gastrocolic reflex which sends u 2 the bathroom.
