Yes.: If so, beware of related allergens: squash/zucchini/eggplant for pumpkin, latex for avocado.

Pumpkin allergy: Yes, pumpkin allergy has been reported but seems to be fairly rare. Avocado allergy is more common in patients with latex allergy. Mouth, throat and lip itching with eating avocados is called pollen-food allergy syndrome.
