Lately, i've noticed that the majority of times when i yawn, i stop mid-way and am unable to "fully" yawn. no smoking/drinking/drugs. any suggestions?

This is fine.: Yawning is a way to get more air into the lungs. If you don't need that much extra air, you won't yawn fully.
