A member asked:

What antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

most if not all: Penicillins and cephalosporins will make birth control meds less effective. Most others will as well. If you need to be on antibiotics it is best to avoid sexual intercourse or the very least use additional contraceptive methods, or condoms.
