Can lopressor (metoprolol tartrate) worsen wolff-parkinson-white syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

lopressor (metoprolol tartrate): Lopressor (metoprolol tartrate) would usually not worsen wpw. When WPW is symptomatic we usually consider ablation of the bypass tract(s). Seeing an electrophysiologist is a good idea when WPW with tachycardia is present.
