Needs further workup: Both white cells and platelets are somewhat high but not much more can be said with the info provided. There are many reasons for this to happen, both serious and inconsequential. I'm assuming the doc who ordered it will evaluate you properly and maybe refer you to a hematologist if he/she thinks it's proper. Hopefully is nothing of importance. Best to you.

Follow it: Your physician will probably want to keep an eye on this in case this actually is essential thrombocythemia, a mild chronic illness that's generally easily managed, rather than just a blip. Best wishes.
