If advanced, yes: If alzheimer's or other dementia is far enough advanced, then ct can show cortical atrophy and enlarged ventricles. However, functional brain changes can be going on for a long time before anatomical changes show up.

Yes: Atrophy can be seen on ct but the patterns of atrophy of the brain in dementia are suggestive of a diagnosis, not absolutely definitive.
