There is definitely hope: First of all you need to be in psychotherapy with a competent therapist that can hopefully address your anxiety from a cbt perspective. If you are not seeing a psychiatrist, you should do so immediately. If your current psychiatrist has yet to get you well, then i would ask him for a second opinion. Any psychiatrist who refuses to let a patient get a second opinion is in my opinion not worth returning to.There are many treatments for anxiety including non-medicinal treatments. These include yoga, exercise, acupuncture, and improving your social support network as well as meditation and spirituality. Diet can play an important role also.Make sure your diagnosis is correct and that you have received adequately aggressive treatment for your condition. You should not have to suffer.

yes: There is definitely hope if you want to get help.You need to see doctor for proper eval and med along with some psychotherapy.With the advancing of medicine, we do have some range of med that works good and much less side effects as before.
