5 month old has nasal cogestion for sometime now weeks i use a electric aspirator to clear it out and last couple days has been a lot coming out now has cough added and when clearing the nose she gags?

?Question?: I'm not sure what your question is here as the end of your question was cut of after 'gags'. But sometimes repeatedly sucking out that nose, especially with a mechanical tool that can really suck can cause more irritation than it solves. Use some nasal saline prior to use of the aspirator. If any fever or that cough worsens, you need to see doc again. Maximize humidity in her environment.

Maybe more than cold: If it is more than 7 days, persistent fussy, not sleeping well, not eating well, see the doctor.
