You're free to try: The principal "study" suggesting that a vegan diet prevents cancer, based on mao-era death certificates, was so flawed scientifically that it could never pass peer review, and the author went on to write about the value of eating fish. Well-informed vegans who supplement tend to be healthy because of other lifestyle factors; i doubt it'll touch cancer but you are free to try it if you truly wish.
