Not necessarily: The risk of transmission for a single sexual act is quite low--much lower than for hepatitis b, for example. Of course, the more sex you have, the greater the risk, but the risk depends on other things as well, such as viral load of the infected individual. By no means am i trying to say that it's ok to have unprotected sex if you're positive, but transmission is not a sure thing.
