A member asked:

I read that protein helps facial hair growth. how much daily protein intake would i need for it to take effect?

Be careful: Hair is made of protein, so yes, you need to ingest adequate amounts of protein for your hair to grow. However, ingesting excessive amounts of protein will not make hair grow faster, and it can damage your kidneys, among other things. Eating a well-balanced diet is optimal.
