A member asked:

I'm a girl who diagnosed w/ mild cervical dysplasia! i was wondering what's the effect on my boyfriend? will he get hpv or will he just be carrier?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

He already has it: Likely if you have cervical dysplasia, which is a way of saying that you've come in contact with hpv, then your boyfriend has hpv too. Most people have come in contact with hpv. Males tend not to have any changes in the cells on their penis however. He needn't worry, nor should you. If you're sexually active, chances are very high will contact hpv. Just follow doctor's advice, you'll be fine.
