Possibly...: Depends a lot on which ligament you injured and the shape of the muscles around that joint. Ligaments don't typically repair themselves. So after such an injury, the goal of physical therapy is to develop the muscles around the joint in question, taking over some of the support function of the ligament. If that doesn't work, sometimes surgery is indicated. So, if you're not doing so, see a pt next.
