I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, lately my hair is thinning. im taking otc pills and metformin. is this condition(thinning hair) temporary?

Maybe: Thinning hair is a side effect of the elevated testosterone. If you are overweight losing weight may help. Birth control pills can help decrease the circulating testosterone levels. Make sure your thyroid is normal. Unfortunately this is a symptom of polycystic ovarian syndrome.
