Genetics: The average projection of a women's nipple is approximately 3/8 inch. Pregnancy and nursing will increase the size-sometimes permanently. You should be happy and thankful with what you have since we all strive to be unique individuals with healthy bodies through our diet, exercise and lifestyle.
