I have always had irregular periods. my last one was in april. is it normal to have cramps like my period is going to come on but it never comes?

irregular periods: This is not normal and most likely the blood lining in your uterus is growing and needs to be shed with a menstrual bleed. Usually the problem is not making Progesterone and only making estrogen. You should see a provider and get tests because if not treated this can become a pre cancer or when you do bleed it can be very heavy. You could also be pregnant although perhaps you already tested this.
