See rheumatologist: Since many thyroid diseases are of autoimmune nature, you should consult a rheumatologist to find out what may be wrong with you since you are more at risk to suffer from another autoimmune disease. Of course, problem in the spine can cause weakness too but i would have expected more pain and mostly unilateral (one leg) involvement.
