Possibly: Often facilities have guidelines for the removal or non-removal of undergarments. Removal is usually a requirement if your surgical case is beyond 2 hours, in which case a catheter may be need to be placed. However, i imagine that this request would not be denied if the case is short and the surgeon anticipates no need for catheter placement. Talk to your surgeon and facility about your request.
